At Hidden Paradise Guest House & Retreat, we follow an environmentally friendly and sustainable way of living, actively supporting the local community. Our hot showers are heated by solar energy, our food is prepared using local produce, and our employees are from nearby villages, where the support of the local youth club has been a priority for several years. Laxman, the oldest of the three brothers, runs Hidden Paradise. Having always dreamt of constructing a traditional round house, referring to the historic Nepalese beliefs of positive energy flow in this form of building, in 2007 he fulfilled his dream with the help of local craftsmen and materials. This impressive structure complemented the existing accommodation of Hidden Paradise that was built in 2000. Laxman has been qualified in Ayurvedic and Accupressure Massage since 2004 and his treatment room is part of the round house building, where he also practises Reiki and Tamara Healing. Manish, the second brother, is not only the administrative head of the team and responsible for the smooth running of Hidden Paradise, but also loves to spoil the guests with his delicious creations at mealtimes. Milan, the youngest of the team, took a very early interest in everything technical, so naturally qualified for overseeing the maintenance of the buildings, furniture and the extensive garden at Hidden Paradise. Grandma (Jimua) keeps a loving eye on the three brothers and their guests, and is always there to share her beautiful smile and to give a helping hand in the kitchen. Kushi (Happy) the dog, is just that – a happy dog!
