About Us

A 'Hidden Paradise' that guests have called home since 2000.

Meet Laxman (pictured right) and Pratikshya (pictured left), your hosts at Hidden Paradise Guest House & Retreat, a family-owned business for over 20 years. It was Laxman's teenage vision and the support of his devoted family that inspired the growth of this spectacular space from the ground up. Hard work, dedication and sheer determination has transformed their longstanding family home to what it is today for guests to savour and enjoy.

Pratikshya & Laxman of Hidden Paradise Guest House & Retreat

Hidden Paradise is comprised of nine traditionally built accommodations all nestled perfectly within lush subtropical gardens, offering views of Phewa Lake, the surrounding forested hills and the local village of Sedi. Such a beautiful setting that is often met with a gasp from guests.

Hidden Paradise follow an environmentally friendly and sustainable way of living by actively supporting the local community. Most of the produce on the menu is from the area, including organic seasonable vegetables and fresh buffalo milk from the village. This extends to the employees from the village who offer their kindness and authenticity that helps to maintain its true identity and cultural heritage.

Laxman is a qualified 'Tandem Paragliding' pilot and massage therapist, and also known for his support work in various communities across Nepal. Pratikshya serves up the most delicious food, noted by some to be the best Dal Bhat they have ever tasted. They are parents to their 'little monkey', Jason, who is filled with the energy from their home that is Hidden Paradise.

"We look forward to welcoming you!"
